• What did you like the most about your reception? i loved the fact how long everyone stayed.. usually people leave the around 9 or so because people get bored with dancing... we had people dancing until 11:30!!  It was great!  Everyone had a great time! Thanks!
• Is there anything we can improve on?  no - the DJ was early - which was great! and he stayed a little late too..  He did a great job!

  • Our reception was everything we dreamed of... the party was so much fun, and the music had everyone, young and old on the dance floor.  When he involved the crowd in things like making us make out, making the girls dance for the bouquet toss and attempting to trick the groom with the garter toss, it was entertaining for everyone from the bride and groom, to our parents, wedding party and all of our guests!

  • It was helpful to have the reminders.

  • Yes! I loved that part about it. That way we could go in and add things whenever we wanted. Also we took the time to look through the song lists and choose our music.
• Did your DJ arrive on time?
  • He was there and playing music when everyone arrived. And I heard from my cake lady that he was there setting up when she was delivering the cake at 1:00 pm, so he was there early and prepared.
• Was he dressed appropriately?
  • Yes, he looked very nice.
• Was the dinner or cocktail music appropriate for you?
  • The music was perfect. I didn't even specify what we wanted and he did a great job picking out the music.
• Was your DJ friendly?
  • Very friendly and he smiled a lot. Very polite to talk to.
• Was the DJ entertaining?
  • He was entertaining and not in a cheesy way. Everything seemed very natural and not like he was trying to be entertaining. Towards the end of the night he was up on the stage dancing along with everyone, sort of leading people in different dances like the Cabbage Patch and Running Man, etc. It was a great time and the DJ was the best!! We had so many compliments on the DJ, I think more than anything else at the reception. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was packed the entire night.
• Did your DJ work well with the crowd?
  • He worked very well with the crowd. Everyone loved the DJ and was asking about him all night. He interacted well with the crowd and didn't try to "steal the show". Some weddings I have been to the DJ talks the entire time on the mic and tries to be the entertainment instead of the music and that is annoying. But not with our DJ, he did a great job!
• Did your DJ play requests?
  • Yep, he played every request that was made, and quick too. Sometimes when you make a request you don't hear it until later but he played most of them right away.
• Did your DJ play music for the whole crowd or just play to a few people?
  • There was a wide variety of music being played. My Grandma especially thought that was nice because then they could get out and dance too. Some weddings they only play one type of music but there was a nice selection being played. And the dance floor was packed the entire night!
• What did you like the most about your reception?
  • I thought everything was perfect. I would say that I really liked the way Jon had certain things set up. Like for the first dance he had us come out and kiss until the crowd stopped cheering and then that led into the first dance. And then he had my husband go search for my dad for the father daughter dance. And taking off the garter was great, it was all Jon's idea and it was so funny! I just thought that Jon was the best DJ and so personable. We felt extremely comfortable and happy with him the entire time. Everyone complimented the DJ and I know if we ever plan an event again we will use Ultimate Entertainment as well as tell everyone we know about how wonderful you were!!
• Is there anything we can improve on?
  • Nope, everything was absolutely perfect, wouldn't change a thing!! But I was thinking... I didn't know if you brought business cards or brochures along but as many people that we had asking about you it would have been nice to give them a card or brochure or something that night. That way they would have it in case they ever need a DJ.
• Can we use your comments on our website?
  • Yes.

  • Yes, but I think it will be changing soon, now that I have a new last name :) But I will still be checking my current email for awhile yet until everyone has my email changed.

  • We were extremely happy with the DJ. The music was great, and the sound level was perfect. Jon was very entertaining and he seemed to be having fun along with the rest of us. When we booked Ultimate Entertainment I just called out of the phone book, no referral, and that always makes you a little nervous. But it turned out great and I would book you guys again and again if we ever need a DJ.  I know I gave your name out to at least 15 people that night and everyone was asking about you because Jon was so great! The online planning was extremely helpful too, we could add music or change music on our own time and that way too we didn't leave out any details. Jon even came up to introduce himself to us before he introduced the wedding party, etc. And he went over everyones names to make sure he was pronouncing them right. Overall we are very satisfied with your service, so thank you for making it so great!!!

Contact Form Feedback

This was sent to us via our Contact Form.  Stacey (one of our staff) had a free weekend and partied at a karaoke bar out of state.  Here's what the owner sent us:

Sean, here is your comments form back. They are all rave reviews and we received many compliments on Jeremy's work that night. Take care and thanks for everything.

• Did the email messages help you plan your reception?
  • Yes they did. They helped to remind us of songs that we had yet to pick out and it also helped to remind us to set up a meeting to go over things.
• Was our website and On Line Planning helpful?
  • It was amazingly helpful. If we thought of a song we wanted or thought of something new to add, we could do that when we thought of it. It didn't matter if it was 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon, we knew it could and would be taken care of from there.
• Did your DJ arrive on time?
  • Yes Jeremy was there and set up and ready for guest when he needed to be.
• Was he dressed appropriately?
  • Jeremy was dressed very appropriately. He looked like he was comfortable in what he wearing while he was very nicely dressed. A nice button down shirt with black slacks. He looked very nice.
• Was the dinner or cocktail music appropriate for you?
  • It was played very softly in the background like we wanted and was very low key music. Something nice to listen to be easy to talk over if you were having a conversation. It was perfectly done.
• Was your DJ friendly?
  • Jeremy was very friendly. We felt very comfortable going up and talking him and knew he would treat our guests right if they came up to talk to him as well.
• Was the DJ entertaining?
  • Jeremy did a great job of entertaining the crowd. He did a great job of playing up they flower and garter toss. He was having fun and that made it easier for everyone else to have fun.
• Did your DJ work well with the crowd?
  • Jeremy worked wonders with the crowd. He did a snowball wedding party dance. He started playing a song and every time he stopped it the party would run out and grab people to come and dance. Then he would start the music again and when he stopped it everyone ran out and grabbed more people to dance. He got everyone out there for that dance and everyone kept coming out to dance afterwards. Jeremy had our friends out dancing, he had our parents and their friends out dancing, he had people of all ages out dancing at all times. It was just we wanted, to see everyone there out having a great time. Many fun moments on tape and will always be remembered.
• Did your DJ play requests?
  • Yes Jeremy played requests from everyone. We had a very special request for the grooms parents and he made sure it done just the way we wanted it done. That made it really special for us and for them. I requested one, the groom requested one, guests requested some, and they were all played.
• Did your DJ play music for the whole crowd or just play to a few people?
  • Jeremy did a great job of mixing up the music. He played so many different types of music. Lots of country which is what we wanted, he also played so many great classic dance songs that he had everyone out there dancing more than once.
• What did you like the most about your reception?
  • We really enjoyed just seeing everyone out having a great time. We were having a great time, we saw our friends out dancing and having a good time, our families were having a great time there, our parents friends were out there having a great time. Everyone just looked like they were having fun and enjoying themselves and that was what we were looking for. Thank you for all the wonderful memories that you helped create for us and help throw one hell of a party for us to start our life together.

  • I can't really think of anything that you need to improve on with us. Keep up what you are doing and the great work.

  • Your communication with us was wonderful between the emails that were sent out on a system type of thing, to your very fast response to our personal emails. Also the meeting the Wednesday before the wedding on such sort notice. It was great to see the way you were willing to work with us to make things great. Thanks again for everything.   • I will recommend Ultimate Entertainment every chance I get.  The DJ drives the reception, engages the crowd, picks up on the "personality" of the crowd which makes it work.  From the minute he announced that if we looked to our left some "very special people" were arriving it was a great reception!  We also really appreciate that we were able to extend the time of the dance longer than originally intend & how easy Ultimate made it to do that!.  Everything was wonderful & we have a wealth of memories to cherish!  Thank you so much!
